Any Tibetan over 18 years of age, and valid Green Book holder (Dhanglang Chathel), may nominate a candidate for the Office of Kalon Tripa. - How to submit a nomination?
Download and complete the pre-nomination form available on this web site. Completed forms may be sent by regular mail or e-mail. Go here for more information, and obtain the pre-nomination form - How will I know when my nomination has been received?
Submissions will be acknowledged by email or phone within one week of receipt. - How does a nominee become an actual candidate?
To become a candidate, a nominee must be supported (endorsed) by at least 25 Tibetans. - What is the deadline (last day) for nominations?
The deadline is 2 September 2010.
